In 1984, J was raped in the preschool where she worked. He had a knife; he wore a beige coat. A month later, T was walking to the grocery store for bread and potatoes when twenty-five police cars surrounded him. Later, the police would cite his tan coat as their cause when he was arrested. The two had never seen each other and wouldn't until twenty-seven long and agonizing years had passed between them.

This work aims to create an immersive experience between J, T, and their viewers. Their individual experiences and traumas are elevated to the same level of importance. Ultimately, no matter where you find yourself on the spectrum of wrongful conviction, it's a terribly hard thing to live through and to live with.
